About Maureen

Maureen has an extensive background in Human Resources, Social Sciences, and Education. Her range of employment experiences include self-employed management consultation, large-scale human resource development co-ordination/managing, specialist consulting services, clinical community and allied health roles, adult and community education, and secretarial and administrative roles in various areas including the media. These roles have involved working with a broad range of people from executive level through weekly paid employees in city, rural, and remote locations.

 

Areas of expertise

Her range of roles over the past several years has also involved working as an associate consultant for a national firm in areas such as critical incident (trauma), employee assistance programs, conflict consultation, and mediation. She has been on deployments across Australia.

Maureen’s work experience comes from many diverse fields. This includes the private sector; commonwealth, state, and local governments; and not-for-profit agencies. She has worked in Sierra Leone on a successful peacebuilding project and in East Java training in mediation and dialogue.
